During the 54th Annual Rose D’Or Awards (London, December 9th, 2015), which celebrates television and radio excellence, Media Ranch was awarded the Best Reality & Factual Entertainment prize for their show, STREET JUNGLE.

As a production house, Media Ranch specializes in factual, reality TV, docu-reality and lifestyle programming. In addition, Media Ranch owns a format agency, which represents media giant Endemol since 2008, which is now part of the new joint venture Endemol Shine Group; a global content creator, producer and distributor with creative companies in over 30 television markets. In appointing Media Ranch as its exclusive agent for French Canada, Endemol Shine Group recognizes the specific nature of the territory and commercial opportunities for formats within this market.
Media Ranch also acts as consultants to Canadian and international producers to develop their own format marketing strategies as well as to financial institutions and key players in the industry. In 2011, Canada’s largest national broadcaster, CBC/Radio-Canada appointed Media Ranch with a mandate to identify programs from within its existing catalog to build a comprehensive international sales and marketing format strategy.
Media Ranch has produced evocative and highly-entertaining programming, such as WIPEOUT, UNDERCOVER DADS, TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL?, DINING WITH THE ENEMY, STREET JUNGLE, TRUE SEX CONFESSIONS, LIFE IN THE KITCHEN, the 5th season of BAGGAGE BATTLES for CMT (Canada) and Travel Channel (USA & Scripps International), and recently wrapped a full-length documentary for The Movie Network (Canada), History/ A&E (USA) and Channel 4 (UK), just to name a few.
Media Ranch's passionate and experienced team works with contagious dedication to produce television that entertains while touching on important current social issues, thus creating 'entertainment with a conscience'. The company is run and owned by its founder, Sophie Ferron, who works closely with this talented team and other close collaborators.
